Recently, both my husband Bernie and I were interviewed for episodes of Lynn Carnes’ Creative Spirits Unleashed Podcast https://lynncarnes.com/podcast/. Bernie was interviewed about his new book, “Two Mules to Triumph” https://www.amazon.com/Two-Mules-Triumph-Through-America/dp/B0DFY64QGS, and his long ride from our farm in Western North Carolina to Idaho with his two mules, Brick and Cracker, which the book is about.

Lynn is a great interviewer. She gets Bernie to expand upon his outlook on his relationship with his mules, what scared him the most during their 7-month trip across the country, the deep lessons he learned about the fabric of America, and what he would do differently the next time he takes a long ride with his mules.
The most important point they cover is seeing the being inside each creature, regardless of whether it happens to be a salty cowpoke named Cowboy Dave or an unsure little mule named Brick, as I talked about with Lynn in our episode about my Two Step Way https://twostepway.com/, how important it is to see that being inside no matter the shape of the skull.
Lynn and I also discuss, among many other things, the importance of reconnecting with your childhood dreams, the value of stillness and awareness in universal communication and the effectiveness of responding versus reacting. Also, if you enjoyed listening to these episodes, Lynn would be thrilled if you left her a nice review about her Creative Spirits Unleashed Podcast.
